Research Assistant

About

Siobhan Mackenzie Hall is a Research Assistant at CHIA supporting the engineering development for experiments looking at the effects of human-AI interaction. Additionally, she is a final year PhD student at the University of Oxford within the Oxford Neural Interfacing Group. Her PhD investigates electrode design for cortical stimulation of the human cortex using computational methods. She has also worked in fairness of AI, leading projects focussed on investigating and counteracting bias in large-scale AI models through benchmarking, model adaptation and exploring community-based methods for collecting data to address the ‘long tail’ of distributions.
