Ariel is an Assistant Professor in Cognitive Science and AI at CHIA. In his research, Ariel explored high-level cognition of the human nonconscious, using it as a window into understanding human consciousness. In recent years, Ariel has explored how deep language models (now known as LLMs) model human processes of language comprehension and production (believing these are good models of human automatic capabilities). Currently, he is trying to understand what makes the interaction between agents (human and/or artificial) efficient.
