Charlotte Collins is a Research Fellow based in CHIA. She has a mixed research background spanning laboratory cell biology – particularly stem cell biology and tissue regeneration – and computational linguistics, where she has applied language technologies to extract information from biomedical texts.

• Investigating how humans shape AI for life sciences research tasks
• Exploring how researchers and AI systems collaborate to co-create knowledge
• Applying computational linguistics to extract and structure biomedical information
• Bridging methods from biology and language technology in interdisciplinary research
