Gos Micklem runs an interdisciplinary research group in the Department of Genetics, which uses computational and laboratory techniques to carry out basic and applied research in biology. A special focus of Gos’ group is on the development and application of integrative genomics methods.

• Developing open-source community resources, including the InterMine data warehouse system
  
• Collaborative research in genome sequencing and annotation, functional genomics, synthetic biology, and cancer research
