Hannah Claus is a Gates Cambridge and ELLIS Scholar pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Cambridge. Her research explores the social and ethical dimensions of AI, with a focus on explainability, accessibility, and the use of technologies like robotics and natural language processing (NLP) for public benefit.

Previously, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Ada Lovelace Institute, supporting research on emerging technologies and industry practices. She holds an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from Queen Mary University of London, where she was a DeepMind Scholar.

Hannah is particularly interested in making AI systems more transparent and inclusive for the communities they affect.
