About

Irene Testini is a is an Affiliated Fellow at CHIA and a Researcher at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, where she works on benchmarking AI agents against data science problems. Prior to joining CFI, she worked as an NLP Specialist with the Out Of Our Minds team at the University of Birmingham, applying natural language processing to the study of second language acquisition. She later joined Cardiff University as a Research Software Developer, where she developed computer vision tools for the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) sector. Irene holds a BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Computer Science.
